    The Kadoma (Gatooma) Jewish Community

January 2006 - ZJC is honoured to provide some unique video footage of the Kadoma Jewish Community kindly provided by Sophie Codron. The original film was taken by Sigi Weber (Sophie's father) on 8mm camera in the early 1950s. He edited the film and meticulously created titles for each section. Recently the film was converted to DVD format. There is no accompanying audio except background music which was added in the DVD.  Some titles were added to provide context. The video clips for this site that have been chosen from all the material have been converted to WMV format and so you will need Microsoft's Media Player. If you have any comments/stories that could accompany the video please write to the editor.
